1)Can you jailbreak iOS 6.1?

Yes – We released the untethered jailbreak for iOS 6 and iOS 6.1 on 2/3/2013 for all devices including iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, and the latest iPads.

2)Can you unlock iPhone 4S and iPhone 5?

Unfortunately, we don’t yet have an unlock available for the iPhone 4S or iPhone 5. These devices are currently “jailbreak only”.

3)Can you Jailbreak iPhone 4S and iPhone 5?

Absolutely! The jailbreak for these devices on iOS 6 and 6.1 was released on 2/3/2013.

4)What is iPhone Jailbreaking? 

Your iPhone is capable of a lot more than Apple wants to admit.  iPhones ship with factory “locks” on them, which prevent you from doing anything with them that Apple doesn’t want you to do. When you jailbreak, you “hack” your phone to remove these restrictions.

Some of the things that you can do after you jailbreak include customizing pretty much anything about your phone that you can imagine, installing 3rd party software that Apple doesn’t think you should have, using your iPhone as a WiFi hotspot without upgrading to a “tethering” plan, downloading free versions of paid apps, watching downloaded movies and TV shows on your iPhone, enjoying “WiFi Only” apps over 3G/4G, and more.

5)What is iPhone Unlocking?

When you purchase an iPhone, it generally comes from the manufacturer with a “SIM Lock”. These locks make it so that you can only use the phones with certain mobile carriers and in certain countries. When you unlock your iPhone, you are removing these restrictions. You can then use the phone with any mobile carrier that you want.

You can also avoid roaming charges if you travel. This is because with an unlocked phone, you can put a local SIM card from any country into it. You are then able to make calls as though your phone originated with a wireless carrier in the country that you are in.

6)How do I know that I can trust your company?

With so many “fly by night” iPhone jailbreak sites out there, it’s difficult to know who to trust. 7)Which basebands can you unlock? How Do I Check My Baseband Version?

Currently, we can unlock these basebands: 2.10.04, 3.10.01, 4.10.01, 1.59.00, 4.26.08, 5.11.07, 5.12.01, 5.13.04, 6.15.00, 5.14.02, 5.15.04, 5.16.01, and 5.16.02. (Note that we cannot unlock baseband 06.15 if you are running iOS 5.) We’re constantly striving to improve so that we can unlock additional baseband versions.   To check your baseband, select the Settings icon, then General, and then About. You will find your firmware version next to where it says “version”. You will find your baseband version next to where it says “modem firmware”.

8)Will this brick my iphone?

We’ve helped to jailbreak and unlock literally thousands of iPhones, and never had one end up bricked. Furthermore, we include a method to “unbrick” your iPhone in case you’ve previously tried some lower quality jailbreak software and ended up with your phone bricked. It tends to work for about 95% of people who come to us with a bricked iPhone.

9)Does this void my warranty?

Jailbreaking results in your Apple warranty being temporarily void. As long as you have your iPhone jailbroken, you cannot send it in for warranty repairs. However, unjailbreaking your phone is a simple process of restoring it to factory defaults. So that if you ever have a need to take advantage of the warranty, you can simply remove the jailbreak and utilize your warranty as usual.

10)I thought jailbreaking was supposed to be free?

While it is technically possible to find free versions of jailbreak software out there on the web, it’s not recommended. In order to find the software, you often have to dig through pages and pages of hacker websites and deal with fake downloads that often turn out to be malware or viruses in disguise. Like most things, you get what you pay for. Furthermore, it takes quite a bit of technical skill to jailbreak a phone using this free software, and there are certainly no step by step instructions or technical support to help you out if you get into trouble.

11)How difficult is this? Can I do this?

We’ve had 80 year old grandmothers use our software and instructions to jailbreak/unlock their iPhones. You do need to know how to do very basic computer tasks, such as double-clicking and hitting the escape button when prompted. 99% of our customers are able to jailbreak their iPhones in less than 5 minutes and completely on their own.

12)Do I get access immediately?

As soon as we receive your payment, you’ll automatically be sent your login information within about 15 seconds. Once you login to our members area, you can immediately access the instructions and software, and should be able to to jailbreak/unlock your phone in about 5 minutes.

13)How long does this take?

Jailbreaking any model of iPhone can usually be done in less than 5 minutes by someone with no technical skills. If you also want to unlock, plan on an additional 5-10 minutes.

14)What cell phone networks can I use an unlocked iPhone with?

You can use an unlocked iPhone on any GSM carrier. In the United States, this includes T-Mobile, Amerilink, Broadpoint, Cellular One (in certain areas), Fusion Mobile, ECI, WestLink and more, including many regional carriers. See here for a complete list of US based GSM carriers. In addition, you can use it on most carriers in other countries, as the majority of the world outside the US utilizes GSM. Non-US based carriers that you can use include T-Mobile, Verizon CDMA, Cingular, Sprint, Rogers, Nextel, Bell, Telus, Orange, China Mobile, Vodafone, Telefonica/Movistar/O2, Telecom, Bouygues Telecom, Cosmote, 3, Metro PCS, AllTel, Omnitel, and Swisscom.

15)Can you jailbreak the iPad 2 and iPad 3?

Yes! We released the jailbreak for these devices on May 25th, 2012.

16)Can I use this with phones from the USA? From the UK?

Yes. Our jailbreaks and unlocks are country independent. They can be used with iDevices from any country.

17)Can I unlock an iPhone that has previously been activated?

In most cases, yes. In the unlikely case that we’re unable to unlock a previously activated iPhone, we will cheerfully refund your money.

18)Do you have a phone number that I can call to ask some questions?

At the moment, we are not offering customer service via phone. We expect this to change soon, and to start offering phone support within the next 30 days. Our current policy is in an effort to keep our costs low and, in turn, keep the costs of our jailbreak software at a minimum. 19)Is Your Jailbreak Tethered Or Untethered? In Other Words, Do I Have to Rerun the Software Every Time I Reboot My Phone?

All of our jailbreaks are currently completely untethered.

20)Are jailbreaking and unlocking illegal?

Nope. They are against Apple’s terms of service. However, the practice has been legal in most countries since the beginning. Jailbreaking was affirmed as legal in the United States by the Library of Congress in 2010.

21)Can I “un-jailbreak” my iphone?

Absolutely! We provide instructions that make un-jailbreaking your iPhone as quick and painless as jailbreaking it is.
